We also offer expert advice and coaching, and can guide you through the process of recording, mixing and mastering your sound to perfection.

We will work with you to translate your vision, taking individual tracks and fine-tuning and blending them together into a full and balanced sound.

mastering

Mastering puts the finishing touches on your album, ensuring a cohesive, professional sound. We will balance your music and optimize playback, preparing your work for distribution.

rehearsal space

Whether you are a solo musician, group or band, we provide rehearsal space for up to 10 people. We have a complete sound system, microphones, amps, drum set, keyboard, guitars and percussions for your use.

Sylburn Rowe, aka Ras Slick, is the owner of My Time Studio, which was built in 2015. He is also a reggae recording artist and fronts his own band, The Dutty Bus Crew.

Ras Slick hails from Westmoreland, Jamaica, where his strong and deeply rooted musical background can be traced back to his youth. Known for captivating performances, he is a rare blend of entertainer, astute entrepreneur, songwriter and music producer.

He has consecutively won Best Male Vocalist honors at the Washington DC Annual Reggae Music Awards (ARMA). He has graced respected stages such Carifesta and Linganore Caribbean Wine Festivals, the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival, the Jamaica Music Conference in Kingston, and the DC World Reggae Festival with Shabba Ranks, Chronixx and Toots & the Maytals.

He has opened for reggae icons including his musical idol Beres Hammond, Sizzla, Morgan Heritage, Iba Mahr, Luciano, Tarrus Riley and Jesse Royal.

Owen is an accomplished recording engineer and cutting-edge music producer with nearly 20 years of experience. He owned and managed a recording studio in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica for over 10 years, where he worked with popular reggae artists including G Whizz, Tyrone Taylor and Cornell Campbell.

Owen moved to Maryland in 2008, and has been working with Ras Slick since 2012. He records and produces artists from many genres and all levels of experience.
